we will share the solution about how to remove iCloud locked error on ipad wifi device, give 2 solution, and removing the ipad hardware icloud.
Solution 1 and 2 are really similar.
The following tools are required.
Solution 1: Replacing NAND
– Hot air station
– Hobby Knife
– Solder Flux
– Stencil
– NAND for the specific model. (SN needs to be icloud free) (LINK)
– Solder paste
– A LOT OF PATIENCE!
Solution 2: Flashing old NAND with new serial. (more for people with a lot of ipads)
– iphone 4 model 3.2 (special new model)
– NAND socket (or you can solder wires to each test point) (LINK)
– Icloud free serial numbers (you can buy them from china)
– Software (see download link)
– Debugging cable (LINK) or see bottom text.
Or you buy this ipad NAND flash socket (LINK)
NOTE:
ipad 2 (OLD) and iphone 4 (OLD) can’t be changed by SN. (is a different methode that i dont know)
Models compatible for solution 1:
All models as long a you can get a icloud free NAND. So also ipad air and ipad air 2, mini 2, mini 3 etc)
Models compatible for solution 2:
iphone 4 (new model)
iphone 4S
iphone 5
ipad 2 (new model)
ipad 3
ipad 4
ipad mini 1
Solution 1:
– Remove the board from the ipad with iCloud.
– Gently remove the shield around the NAND.
– Put your board in a mold or on a soft ground that doesnt take to much heat away.
– PROTECT YOUR CPU WITH COINS AND TAPE.
– Heat up the NAND with hot air gun. (I use 350 Degrees Celsius, but you need to get a feeling.)
– Clean the glue around the NAND with hobby knife.
– When the flux is comes out. Put your hobby knife between the board and the NAND so you lift it up. It will come quite easy of.
– Clean the board and resolder the contact point on the board.
– Take your new NAND.
– Clean and reball it with your stencil.
– Put the NAND back on.
– Heat it up until the tin is soft. (what is do here is gently touch the NAND from the side so all the tin is connected to the board. Seems like it is floating.)
– Cool down and restore with itunes.
If you get error 9 or waiting for ipad. Try again.
I suggest you to use only the NAND that is coded for your model. Otherwise you get a sensor error and you cant activated successfully.
Solution 2:
All the steps are the same as solution 1. BUT here you recode your NAND buy yourself.
– Remove the NAND from the iphone 4 3.2 and solder the flex from the socket on the phone.
– Place the NAND you want to change in the socket.
– Put the iphone 4 in Purple screen with the software.
– Open iphone fix & unlock tool 2.4.2 and read serial.
– Put new serial in and write it to the NAND.
– Now just follow the same steps as with solution 1.
This tutorial is under constrution, so changes will be made!
Iphone debugging cable.
Because the debugging cable can be bought. I made on myself.
It became a little bit complex but what i did was the following:
– Removed the dock flex from my iphone 4.
– Soldered on the inside of the dock flex my wires and resistor of the serial cable.
No really a beauty but…
its working
