A customer sent us an iPhone 6S Plus to repair,  the issue is that the iPhone accidentally dropped into the ground, and then the iPhone has been badly hurt, such as  iPhone rear camera , WiFi, audio, volume, photoreceptor, card setting all has problem. How to best fix it? Keep reading. It can be turned on when using multimeter  to trigger but the current is a bit large. No matter what, we have to turn on the handset and enter into system to have a test. The first problem is card setting. Continue to test other functions, it is true that the front flex cable, audio key flex cable, and rear camera are all broken, so we have to replace all of the spare parts. The last fault we need to confirm is motherboard: card setting, bad WiFi, audio recording is not available, bad audio and leakage. Triggered with more than 300 mA current, which means it has problem. Now we should solve the fault one by one. Since we can't get into the setup, so we take off the iP...

Best FIX: iPhone 6 no display after screen replacement (black screen)

Received an iPhone 6 need to be repaired, the problem is that the iPhone 6 is black screen, it has no display.  The iPhone user said that the iPhone screen has some problem, so he replace the new display screen, the result is iPhone shows nothing, always black screen.  Here is the best fix. Connect iPhone motherboard to DC power supply  to test, we find the current is abnormal. When press the iPhone power button, the boot current is obviously large. The current reached 100mA when press the power button. After remove the display tube, the current still the same, which means there is a short circuit. Measure the voltage output of each circuit of power supply with Fluke 15B+ Digital Multimeter , then surprised to find that there are really short circuit places. LD010 is short circuit; we suspect that the filter capacitance on th...

iPhone 6 WIFI button is grayed out, how to fix?

The iPHONE 6 WIFI button is grayed out, which means iPhone 6 WIFI cannot be used, it's important to know how to fix it. According to our experience, the WIFI grayed out issue mostly caused by    iPhone 6 WIFI module IC  not working. Disassemble the iPhone 6, take off the iPhone 6 motherboard.  Test whether the main power supply 4.2V has been delivered on C5202_RF, if not, it can be supplied from any place with main power supply, or directly replace WIFI module. Before disassembly, we need to do some protection to avoid blowing other chips. The WIFI module is surrounded by glue. We must first preheat and remove the glue, and pay attention to small components, especially small resistors. you must to solder it again if some of the components are lost. The WIFI module on line is relatively thin, do not use solder iron   back and forth on iPhone solder pad, testing resistance again after cleaning. As shown in figure 14-5-3 , the lower right...
