The iPhone 6 Plus often crash or no display frequently during the normal use, we need to solve these problems.
Tear down iPhone 6P by phone opening tools, take out the iPhone 6 Plus motherboard, it looks good, no obviously damage.
Connect iPhone motherboard to the DC power supply to measure its boot current first, the data is normal. Install the iPhone screen to test, there are no lights and no display, we suspect that the iPhone 6 Plus sometimes display, sometimes not.
We can find out the failure point by observing iPhone motherboard, we need to measure the iPhone motherboard.
Measure the ground resistance and power supply for display socket, all is normal.
Replace the iPhone light control IC U1501, and then test it, but the problem still there.
Remove the U1501, measure the resistance value for its bottom pin by digital multimeter, the B2 pin is measured no resistance, the problem was found.
Check iPhone schematic diagram in the WUXINJI Dongle, we know that the B2 pin was supplied by the PP VCC MAIN through the booster coil L1519 (the normal value is more than 300 ohms).
When the blade is gently lifted, L1519 dropped, and even the base pin is broken. Carefully remove the lead pin and connect it with jumper wire by QUICK 861DW hot air rework station. Replace the new booster coil L1519.
Measure it again, now the data is normal. Install the iPhone 6 Plus and turn it on, now the iPhone 6 Plus displays properly. After using for a while, the crash or black screen doesn't appears again, the failure has been solved.
