Step by Step to fix iPhone 7 Plus unknown error 9

The iPhone 7 Plus has unknown error 9, it can't be restored smoothly. After tried some simple software solutions, it still report unknown error 9. Now we need to fix it step by step in hardware aspect. According to our experience, the iTunes unknown error 9 generally is caused by the disconnection between iPhone Nand flash to iPhone CPU or the iPhone CPU is virtual-welded. Step 1 Disassemble the iPhone 7 Plus again, take off the iPhone motherboard, and then remove the iPhone Nand flash. Step 2 Use digital multimeter to measure the resistance value of the iPhone Nand flash, the value tested is normal, which means the iPhone Nand flash has no problem; we need to check iPhone CPU. Step 3 Carefully remove the iPhone CPU, and then reinstall it, then assemble the iPhone 7 Plus. Use iTunes to restore the iPhone 7 Plus again, the Apple logo appears normally, but after a while, the iTunes reports unknown error 56. Why it's happening? As we know, the problem of the iPh...

Troubleshoot: iPhone 6S doesn't boot (short-circuit)

Here is an iPhone 6S doesn't boot because of short-circuited, how to troubleshoot it? The trouble described is that the iPhone 6S accidentally fell into water, and then it has no response when we press the iPhone power button, we need to fix it. Use screwdriver to remove the screws next to the iPhone lightning port, put iPhone 6S to the CPB screen separator , after heating for a while, we can open the iPhone LCD screen smoothly.  Remove the iPhone display assembly, disconnect the iPhone battery, and then remove the iPhone motherboard. Put iPhone motherboard under the microscope to observe it, we found that the iPhone baseband power IC, NFC IC, iPhone big audio IC and iPhone display power IC all have traces of water. Use QianLi IBrush and PCB cleaner to clean up the iPhone motherboard, connect iPhone motherboard to the DC power supply, it leaks 80mA, after triggering it, the current stuck on 300mA. At the same time, we found the corners of the iPhone display power IC were b...

Step by step fix iPhone 6 Plus iTunes error 40

The iTunes error 40 occurred on iPhone 6 Plus after expanding,  the fault details are that after using NAVIPLUS PRO3000S programmer to expanding the iPhone 6P Nand flash,  the iPhone 6S failed to restore and reports unknown error 40,  we are going to fix step by step. Step 1 Restore the iPhone 6 Plus again. Connect iPhone 6P to the computer with iPhone lightning cable, and then use iTunes to restore, after a while, the iTunes reports unknown error 40 and failed to restore. Step 2 Disassemble the iPhone 6P. Use 3D Precision screwdriver to remove the screws next to the iPhone lightning port, and then put iPhone 6P on the CPB screen separator, after a while, open the iPhone display assembly, and then take out the iPhone motherboard. Step 3 Measure the iPhone Nand flash. Because the iPhone Nand flash has been replaced, so now we need to remove the iPhone Nand flash, and then use digital multimeter to measure the resistance value of the bottom pin. After measu...

Liquid-damaged iPhone 8P won't charge- Fixed details!

The iPhone 8 Plus was damaged by liquid, in resulting the iPhone can't be charged, but other functions are working fine. Because there is liquid damaged, so we suspect the iPhone 8 Plus has hardware failure.  Here we can get fixed details! Firstly, disassemble the iPhone 8 Plus. Use phone opening tools to disassemble the iPhone 8P, remove the iPhone display assembly, disconnect the iPhone battery, and then take off the iPhone motherboard. Secondly, measure the iPhone charge current.  Connect iPhone to the DC power supply ,  there is no charge current, so the iPhone 8P won't charge, the main reason should be in the iPhone motherboard. Thirdly, check iPhone motherboard. The motherboard obviously has traces of water. Clean up the iPhone board, and then put iPhone motherboard under the microscope to check, we found the capacitors near the iPhone WIFI IC have been severely corroded. Remove the corroded capacitors, and then turn it on to test, now the current jumps f...

WIFI Fault: iPhone 7 won't connect to WIFI- Best Solution

Today we are going to talk about WIFI fault, the iPhone 7 won't connect to WIFI,  which mean the iPhone WIFI function doesn't worry, here is the best solution for it. Firstly, use phone opening tools to disassemble the iPhone 7, then remove the iPhone display screen, and then remove the iPhone motherboard. We found the iPhone motherboard is a bit deformed, the iPhone motherboard is curved, especially the location of the iPhone WIFI. Therefore, we suspected the iPhone WIFI part is damaged, we need to remove it. Use QUICK 861DW hot air rework station to heat the iPhone WIFI module IC, and then use tweezers to remove the iPhone WIFI IC.  In this part, we should pay more attention, because it's easy to damage the small components or layer board circuits next to the iPhone WIFI. After removing the iPhone WIFI IC , we can see that some pins are dropped on the solder pad, it's caused by pressure. Put iPhone motherboard under the microscope, we can clearly see that...
