Today we are going to talk about WIFI fault, the iPhone 7 won't connect to WIFI, which mean the iPhone WIFI function doesn't worry, here is the best solution for it.
Firstly, use phone opening tools to disassemble the iPhone 7, then remove the iPhone display screen, and then remove the iPhone motherboard.
We found the iPhone motherboard is a bit deformed, the iPhone motherboard is curved, especially the location of the iPhone WIFI. Therefore, we suspected the iPhone WIFI part is damaged, we need to remove it.
Use QUICK 861DW hot air rework station to heat the iPhone WIFI module IC, and then use tweezers to remove the iPhone WIFI IC. In this part, we should pay more attention, because it's easy to damage the small components or layer board circuits next to the iPhone WIFI.
After removing the iPhone WIFI IC, we can see that some pins are dropped on the solder pad, it's caused by pressure.
Put iPhone motherboard under the microscope, we can clearly see that iPhone WIFI part of the pressure is severe, there are a lot of pins have dropped off. And there are 4 pins on WIFI are dropped off. We are going to replace it with the new iPhone WIFI IC.
Remove the iPhone Nand flash to unbind the WIFI. Take off the iPhone Nand flash, use JC P7 programmer to program the iPhone Nand flash to untie the WIFI, and then install the iPhone Nand flash back the iPhone motherboard.
Install the new iPhone WIFI IC to the iPhone motherboard, and then assemble the iPhone 7.
Now, we need to test the iPhone WIFI function, the iPhone 7 can connect to the WIFI network, and the WIFI function works properly.
