Some tips about AK90 key programmer

AK90 key programmer can be used to read and write all BMW EWS key information from 1995-2005, it is car key programming tool for BMW EWS system: EWS2.1 / EWS2.2 / EWS3 / EWS3.3 / EWS4 / EWS4.4,  This user manual will guide how to use AK90 programmer match new bmw key.

1:  How to install USB drive of AK90 key programmer?

Notice: the AK90 USD drive can't be installed automatically, or the usb drive can't be installed correctly,

Problem: When you connect AK90 with your pc by USB cable, show: "new hardware found on" Please click and open C:\Program Files\HRT\AK90\Drv and install the Driver under the AK90 folder,  you must choose right usb drive.


2: How to make BMW key by AK90 programmer?

Firstly,  Remove the ECU chip from BMW car, insert it to AK90 key programmer,

Secondly, plug the key into ak90 programmer, which reads the data information of your car key.

Endly, New key information is matched, then AK90 key programmer will show what's next step, just following the step from software, step by step, you will get what you want.

When making the new keys, you can insert the ECU and ESL to your car, and insert the key; it can star your car then.


3: Programming a new key by Ak90 key programmer, don't need remove the chip from Car ECU


1): when making new bmw key, Don't need remove chip, Pls connect chip socket to EWS and another interface to AK90 programmer host

2): make new key with AK90 key programmer via wiring directly.

3): reading data dumps from MCU which marked 1D47J, 2D47J, 0D46J, 2L86D without removing MCU from circuit board directly

4): with the help of software you can renew, lock or unlock keys as well.

5): Programming original chips "EML 10030A" for making keys.

6): Identifying keys for all EWS and CAS, showing VIN, key No. It support change VIN, but not support do mileage.
