From initial observation of Star C3 multiplexer there is a difference in the appearance: most Star C3 multiplexer's have BLUE connector, some have BLACK and most expensive ones, have RED connector. Any input on that?
Cables: I read somewhere that best RS232 to RS485 Cable should have small box in the middle WITH screws. Other (not so good one) have box w/out screws. Is it true?
Honestly, I do not want to overpay for something that I may use only a few times a year... I know, you may say that "you got what you pay for", but does it applies to MUX clones from China?
