Recently, some customer feedback this connection error about kess v2 ecu programmer, when he replaced NXP chip and reset tokens limitation on kess v2, then get connection error “External exception EEFFACE”



1.If you connect to internet with china clone kess v2 ecu programmer, or make online update.The kess v2 interface is destroy/broken, will show connection error :"External exception EEFFACE"


Solution one: Buy a new NPX chip with 60 tokens inside. Desolder the old NPX and change it with new.

two: or you have to weld a connector on backside of interface ,and plug the J-link programmer.
You can reset the Kess v2 to virgin.
