Why my iPhone 6P WIFI signal is weak? How to fix?

The WIFI signal of iPhone 6P is weak, why is that and how to fix? The trouble details are that the iPhone WIFI is turning on smoothly,  but we the speed of WIFI network is very slow, because the iPhone WIFI signal is weak. Here are the reason and solution.


Disassemble the iPhone by phone opening tools, remove the iPhone motherboard.

Carefully check iPhone WIFI IC, there is no obvious damage. According to our experience, we can test if the iPhone WIFI IC works normally by soldering a  jumper wire to replace the antenna circuit on the periphery of iPhone WIFI chip.

Check iPhone schematic diagram via WUXINJI Dongle, we can solder a jumper wire as the antenna from C5213_FR that next to WIFI.


After soldering the jumper wire via QUICK TS1200A hot air rework station, power on iPhone and test it, now there are many WIFI address can be searched, and the iPhone signal is normal.

According to our repair experience, the iPhone WIFI signal back to normal after soldering the fake antenna is because of the iPhone WIFI signal filter FL_CELL_WIF_RF is damaged. Usually, we can fix it by removing the iPhone WIFI signal filter, because during the use of the iPhone, without this filter will not have any impact on the iPhone. We can directly solder the jumper wire and ignore this filter.


After solidify the green UV oil of the jumper wire, we installed the iPhone. 

 Get into IOS, turn on the WIFI, connect iPhone 6P to WIFI network, now the WIFI signal is normal, the speed of the WIFI network works smoothly.
