You have an single-SIM version iPhone Xs Max , but you want Dual-SIM version, is there any way can change Single-SIM to Dual SIM version on iPhone Xs Max? Yes, here is a way that will show you how to DIY change it in hardware aspect.
Firstly, let's go to Settings->General->About to check the single-SIM version interface, the foreign single-SIM version of the iPhone Xs Max can only install one physical SIM card, the another SIM card can write numbers in a "burn" way to achieve normal communication, so we will see "physical SIM card" and "Digital SIM card" in the iPhone Xs Max "about" interface.
Next let's check iPhone Xs Max single-SIM version motherboard under the Trinocular Integrated Microscope, compared with the dual-SIM version iPhone Xs Max, the R26_SIM, R27_SIM, R29_SIM and R30_SIM are not the core resistors.
When we change the single-SIM to dual-SIM, firstly we need to use QUICK 861DW hot air rework station and Titanium Alloy Tweezers to replace and remove the control chip that was "burned" before, which is U_SIM, as shown in the following picture.
Secondly, we need to transfer the U_SIM communication that was supposed to pass to the "burning" chip to the solid slot 2, so we need to fill those resistors that don't play an important role in the single-SIM card version of iPhone Xs Max, the exact position and size of those resistors are shown in the following picture.
The following picture is physical dual-SIM card slot and single-SIM card slot, it needs to do a replacement, the related position and pins are the same.
Fill the R31_SIM(card detective inductor) 0.00K inductor, and then install the iPhone Xs Max.
Assemble the iPhone Xs Max, insert the dual-SIM card, press the iPhone power button to turn it on, everything goes well, all functions of dual-SIM version will create automatically, and all works fine.
