Here: iPhone 11 Pro Max Nand flash expanding guide

Here is a guide for expanding the iPhone 11 Pro Max Nand flash from 64GB to 512GB. Go to Settings to check iPhone storage, it's 64GB, now we are going to upgrade it to 512GB.

First, backup the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Connect the iPhone 11 Pro Max to the computer via iPhone lightning cable, and then use iTunes to read and back up the iPhone Nand flash data, because we need to write these data to new iPhone Nand flash.

Second, disassemble the  iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Use screwdrivers and other phone opening tools to disassemble the iPhone 11 Pro Max, remove the iPhone 11 Pro Max display assembly, disconnect the iPhone battery, and then take out the iPhone Pro Max motherboard.

Third, remove the iPhone Nand flash.

Put iPhone motherboard on the MJ K30 PCB holder, and then use hot air gun and BGA graver blade to remove the glue for the iPhone Nand flash. After the glue around the iPhone Nand flash is removed, then continue to use hot air gun and BGA removal blade to remove the iPhone Nand flash.

Fourth, clean the iPhone Nand flash and solder pad.

Now we need to clean the residual glue. Put iPhone motherboard under a microscope, use BGA glue removal blade to remove the residual glue on the solder pad, and then clean it with PCB cleaner.

Fifth, program the iPhone Nand flash.

Program the 512GB Nand flash with iPhone Nand programmer, write original iPhone Nand flash data to the new Nand flash.

Sixth, install the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

We need to install this new 512GB iPhone Nand flash to the iPhone motherboard. Apply some solder paste to the solder pad, put iPhone Nand flash in the right position, and then use hot air gun to install it.

After installation, we need to update the IOS system, so the iPhone can be turned on. Assemble the iPhone motherboard and iPhone display assembly and iPhone battery, and then connect it to the computer via iPhone lightning cable to update the IOS system.

After updating the IOS system, activate the iPhone 11 Pro Max, and test the functions on the iPhone 11 Pro Max, all functions tested are normal.
