Recently, a customer feedback that iPhone 6
camera cannot be used and the flashlight
cannot be opened. So, Vipprog finds out why and provides repair guide.
According the experience, the damaged
flashlight often causes the problem of an unworkable camera, so we check the
flashlight. First measure whether the powersupply of flashlight is normal. We find the power supply of
flashlight is output by U1602 through its circuit diagram, as shown in picture 1-1 and material object is shown in
picture 1-2.

After measurement, the work voltage of
flashlight power supply chip U1602 is normal. After analyzing the circuit
diagram of U1602, we know that I2C bus controls the work of flashlight power
supply chip U1602 (picture 1-1). Remove flashlight power supply chip U1602 and
using the multimeter to measure the diode data
to ground of I2C bus solder pad of pin E2 and D2 which is infinite. That
suggests that the I2C bus of flashlight power supply chip disconnects. I2C bus
still connects the rear camera’s socket. Measure the diode data to ground of
rear camera’s socket which is normal. Thus the circuit on the board of
flashlight power supply chip U1602 solder pad disconnected. Jump a wire from
the rear camera’s socket to flashlight power supply chip U1602 solder pad and
then assemble flashlight power supply chip U1602, as shown in picture 1-3 and 1-4.

Finally, Assemble iPhone and get into IOS
to test. The function of camera and flashlight is normal. The iPhone 6 can back
to normal work.
